Our Story
R and B City DJ was started by Ryan Kleczynski and Brandon Belian in June of 2018. The first event that started their business was their school's field day in seventh grade with just an iPad and two speakers. Since then they have expanded to become a regular presence at the North Shore parties ranging from kids’ birthday celebrations to fundraisers to community-based social events where their party mixes are sure to get everyone on the dance floor.
Star Night Theaters was born in July 2020 when in-door parties were put on pandemic pause. Using their existing equipment, they hatched an idea to show movies outdoors with socially-distanced seating. It was a great way to get friends and family together during the pandemic.
Star Night Theaters started off with only one movie screen and the two owners. By the end of July 2020, the business expanded to 3 setups and 4 employees. They finished their first year off strong by hosting 65 movie nights in the summer/fall seasons.

Ryan is a Senior at New Trier High School. He has many interests which include playing multiple instruments, DJing, and fitness. Ryan also rows for the Chicago Rowing Foundation. He is very hardworking and committed to serving every client in a professional way.

Brandon is a Senior at New Trier High School. He plays the Bass Guitar in a band that he is in and has been interested in music since he was very young. In addition, Brandon taught himself how to play keyboard. He likes to get the crowd dancing up on the dance floor!

DJ Gator will bring the energy of your party to a whole different level! His ability to enagage not only the kids but also adults makes his talent invaluable. To even further his talents, he can juggle and unicycle! When he's not working with us, he is running his own DJ busines(DJ Gator), or on the ice rink playing hockey!

Peter is a Senior at New Trier High School. His interests are technology and gaming and gladly taken the opportunity to help make memories for people all around the North Shore.

Gil is a Senior at New Trier High School. When we say he is a DJ, he is a REAL disc jockey. The second he steps onto the stage you will be blown away by his skills. He can turn any song into a dance hit and will keep the dance floor crowded all night.
